One terrorist and three Security Force (SF) personnel were injured in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Killi Siapad area of Kharan District in Balochistan on December 20, reports Dawn. SFs launched an IBO in Killi Siapad on the intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the area. As SFs circled in on the alleged terrorists’ hideouts, they opened fire using heavy weapons. The SFs immediately retaliated, and the heavy exchange of fire continued for an hour, during which explosions were also heard. A cache of weapons, explosives and a motorcycle were also recovered from the hideout.
