On January 4, the house of Hindu community belonging to Pashupati Debnath and Bishwanath Debnath was robbed taking goods and a cash of BDT 12,00,000, from Barbhag village at Dhalgram union in Bagharpara Upazila (Sub-District) in Jashore District of Khulna Division, reports The Daily Star. Abdul Alim, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bagharpara Police Station said that around seven to eight robbers dressed in police uniforms, with one carrying a pistol and a walkie-talkie, were involved in the incident, according to the victims.
