On 16 December 2024, in Ban La Mut village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the combined troops of the Dragon Squad (Thanintharyi), the Tanintharyi Yoma Force and the Taw Bone Gyi People's Defense Force attacked 11 Myanmar military truck convoy with mines near the Hpa Yar Taung mountain and near the Kyaung Kone area with bombs attached to drones around 7 am. Casualties unknown.
