On 16 December 2024, in Khaunglanhpu town of Khaunglanhpu township (Puta-O district, Kachin state), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped 2 bombs on the Lar Khi Sin people's militia outpost, which was captured by the combined resistance force of Kachin Independence Army (KIA), the Kagabu People's Force, and allies on 15 December (coded separately), at around 12 pm. Casualties unknown.
