On 17 December 2024, the Nigerian Air Force launched air strikes at ISWAP's position in Kaula (Abadan, Borno), killing several militants. The group was preparing to launch attacks on some military camps when the strike was launched and destroyed their gun trucks, motorcycles, and other offensive logistics. Several fatalities coded as 10.
