On 7 September 2020, Russian forces carried out airstrikes on IS positions in the Aleppo-Hama-Ar-Raqqa triangle in the area of Ithariyah in Hama in conjunction with a sweeping operation carried out by pro-regime militias in the same area in search of IS cells. Neither injuries nor fatalities were reported.
