On 6 January 2025, near Za Yat Hla village (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Minbu District (Battalion 1 - Drone Team) and the Magway Region Drone Group attacked three Myanmar military columns of around 150 troops advancing towards Za Yat Hla village using bombs attached to drones. At least 6 military troops were killed, and 15 others sustained injuries.
