On 6 January 2025, near Tha Put Kone village of Ayadaw township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense Force - Monywa District (PaKaPha) attacked the Myanmar military column that took civilians as hostages using mines. At least 5 civilians abducted by the Myanmar military (coded separately) were injured. Casualties unknown.
