Grenade event in Berane Municipality, Berane area, Montenegro on Wed 25th December 2024

A 39-year-old man was arrested after the police searched his vehicle and found and seized 200 rounds of ammunition of various types and calibers, as well as 13 tablets listed as controlled narcotic substances. Police officers searched the apartment and other premises used by the man, where they found and seized a "Beretta" pistol, caliber 7.65 mm, a "Bernardelli" pistol, caliber 9 mm, a hunting rifle with licenses, as well as a hand grenade and 62 rounds of ammunition of various types and calibers. The man is suspected of committing the criminal offences of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotic drugs, as well as the criminal offence of unlawful possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
