IED event in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Stolac area, Bosnia and Herzegovina on Fri 20th December 2024

A backpack containing various weapons and explosives, including four modified handguns, three hand grenades, one rifle grenade, seven improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a large quantity of ammunition of various calibers, was found and seized during a police raid focused on the premises and vehicles used by an individual. Although the backpack was not found in these locations, it was in the surrounding area. The relevant prosecutor was notified immediately, and forensic experts conducted an on-site investigation. All necessary measures were taken in response to the discovery.
