Around 7 December 2024 (between 5 - 8 December), in Pyin Yae Gyi village (Nyaunglebin township, Bago district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military troops stationed at the Taw Wi village, Ta Yaw Lu outpost, IB-57 base and IB-264 base conducted a drone strike and fired heavy weapons into the village. Casualties unknown.
