On 7 December 2024, RSF artillery shelling targeted blocks 24 and 29 of Omdurman - Al Thawra (Karrari, Khartoum) and Al Omda (coded separately). On 7 December, a total of 9 civilians were killed and between 12 to 35 were injured across Al Thawra and Omdurman's Al Omda due to RSF shelling, with 1 civilian killed in Al Omda. Remaining fatalities coded to this event.
