On December 19, search operations at Nungbram village and Lairok Vaiphei village in Imphal East District of Manipur led to the recovery of a 7.62mm Russian Ruchnoy Pulemyot Degtyaryova (RPD) machine gun, a 5.56mm INSAS rifle, a 0.32 pistol with its magazine, variety of explosives including a 2-inch mortar and a 2.5 kg explosive device, several hand grenades, including No. 36 and white phosphorus (WP) types, along with two wireless radio sets, live rounds for 7.62mm and 5.56mm firearms, improvised mortar shells and heavy artillery shells, reports India TodayNE.
