On December 15, Assam Police arrested one person identified as Ijazul Miah (40) from South Salmara in Mankachar District of Assam and recovered a huge quantity of explosives from his possession, reports The Assam Tribune. The recovery included of 760 explosive sticks, 400 CDET ALFA detonators, 125 CDET ELECTRA immediate electric detonators, 55 bundles of blue explosive wires, three bundles of electric wires and tools like scissors and cutters used for handling explosives.
