On December 13, a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) was hurled into the compound of the Ghanian-Ke-Bangar Police Station in the Batala area of Gurdaspur District in Punjab, reports The Tribune. No injuries or fatalities were reported. Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) sympathisers Gopi Nawashaharia and Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pashia claimed responsibility for the incident through a social media post.
