On 24 November 2024, in Launglon township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of resistance forces attacked Myanmar military reinforcements coming from Yebyu township using bombs attached to drones and mines. The combined force includes the Karen National Liberation Army (brigade 6 - battalion 27), the Ba Htoo Army, the People's Defense Force - Yebyu, the People's Defense Force - Tanintharyi, the Tavoy People Liberation Force, and the A Zero People's Defense Force. At least 10 military troops were killed during clashes in two locations in four days. 10 fatalities split across two events (Launglon township on 6, 7 and 24 November and between Pein Shaung and Kyauk Hwet Kone villages on 23 November), and coded as 2 for this event.
