On 4 December 2024, a landmine planted by the Iranian Border Guard Command exploded on the Iran-Pakistan border in the Padgi region in Mirjaveh county (coded to Mirjaveh) (Sistan and Baluchestan). As a result, three people were killed and three others were injured. After the mine detonated, the border guards initiated gunfire. The cause of death for the victims, whether from the explosion or the gunfire, has not been determined. The reason for the people's presence in the border region has not been explained.
