On 5 December 2024, in Hakha township (Hakha district, Chin state), the joint forces of the Chin National Army (CNF/CNA) and the Chinland Defense Force (CDF) destroyed the Timit River Bridge using explosives. The bridge had been a critical route for transporting military supplies and reinforcement troops to Thantlang Township.
