On 11 December 2024, in Taungoo town (Taungoo township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the combined troops of the Brave Warriors for Myanmar, the Mountain Knights Civilian Defense Force, the Anti-Coup People's Liberation Force and the Northern Thandaung Defense Force attacked the Taungoo airbase and the Southern Regional Military Command with rockets around 11 pm. 2 military soldiers were killed and 9 were injured in the Taungoo airbase.
