Air Delivered event in Balochistan, Kohdo, Awaran District area, Pakistan on Sun 8th December 2024

A soldier stationed outside the military camp was killed in sniper shot when the Sniper Tactical Team (STT) of Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) carried out an attack in the Kohdo area of Jhao tehsil in Awaran District of Balochistan in the evening of December 8, reports The Balochistan Post. In a statement to the media, the BLF claimed responsibility for the attack. BLF ‘spokesperson’ Major Gwahram Baloch described the STT as “an elite unit of highly trained fighters specializing in precision strikes against the occupying forces and their key positions in Balochistan…The main objective of the STT is to strike important enemy positions to disrupt their operations and ensure the success of our missions”. Adding that the team operates with “swift, stealthy, and effective tactics,” using advanced weaponry and expertise.
