Four Army personnel were killed and at least six others sustained injuries in Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) cadres targeted the military post in Dukki District of Balochistan in the night of December 6, reports The Balochistan Post. The BLA claimed responsibility for the attack. In a statement released to the media, BLA ‘spokesperson’ Jeeyand Baloch said the group’s fighters targeted the military post on Friday night (December 6). “Last night, the fighters attacked the occupying Pakistani army in Dukki, during which several shells were fired using a grenade launcher at the enemy army’s positions,” the statement read. According to the BLA, four Pakistani military personnel were killed, and at least six others were injured in the attack. The group identified two of the deceased as Sepoy Abu Sufyan, a resident of Bahawalpur District (Punjab), and Sepoy Ehsanullah, a resident of Rahim Yar Khan District (Punjab).
