On 21 November 2024, in Dawei township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of the Tavoy People Liberation Force Assault Squad and Drone Team, People's Defense Force - Yebyu (PaKaPha) Company-2 and Dawna Column Squad-6/air unit dropped a bomb on a military outpost in the Dawei deep-sea port area, using a drone. One soldier was killed.
