On 2 December 2024, in Nawng Yin village of Hsihseng township (Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan-South state), a combined force of the Myanmar military and Pa-Oh National Army (PNO/PNA) dropped a bomb on the village, using a drone. The bomb struck three family members working in a cornfield, killing a 2-year-old child and the mother, and injuring the father.
