On 3 December 2024, in Nattalin township (Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), the Phoenix Defense Force (Nattalin) (People's Defense Force - Thayarwady District Battalion-3801 Company-2) carried out a mine attack against a Myanmar military column of 44 troops coming from San Gyi village of Paungde township by using two cluster mines at 4:40 pm. 2 military troops were killed, and 4 others sustained severe injuries.
