On 3 December 2024, Taliban members, including a key vice and virtue committee member, were killed and two others were wounded following an attack (likely conducted using remote explosives, as shown in the video from AFF) by Afghanistan Freedom Front militants targeting a convoy of the Taliban's Intelligence and Vice and Virtue Department, heading toward the 102-bed hospital in Khair Khana area in PD11 of Kabul city, to evacuate female nursing and midwifery trainees from the hospital. Unconfirmed number of fatalities coded as 3 (AFF claimed the killing of 5 Taliban members, but this is uncorroborated).
