Missile event in Bukonyva area, Ukraine on Sat 7th December 2024

While inspecting the area where the wreckage of the downed enemy object fell, police explosives experts found an unexploded warhead of a Russian X-101 missile outside the settlements of Dniester district. The specialists prepared all the necessary equipment and destroyed the explosive object using controlled detonation. 

After a thorough inspection, police explosives experts took the missile warhead as far away from populated areas as possible and destroyed it with a false explosive charge. 

The Bukovyna police emphasise that if ammunition, missile parts, shells, UAVs or other explosive or suspicious objects are found, it is strictly forbidden to approach them. The relevant services should be immediately informed of the discovery.
