Police searching for man after suspected arson attack at Gosford office buildings
Police have released an image of a man they believe is linked to a suspected arson attack at two office buildings on the NSW Central Coast today.
Emergency services were called to a building on Donnison Street, Gosford about 2.20pm after reports of explosions.
The building was evacuated and nobody was seriously injured, however shortly after police were called to another building on the same street.
9News understands one building was a legal aid office while the other was a law firm.
Witnesses told police a man was seen entering both buildings before lighting a fire and fleeing.
A 54-year-old man was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
Police remained at the scene and Donnison Street was closed in several areas.
NSW Police said tonight they wanted to speak with a man seen in the area at the time of the incidents.
"He is described as being aged in his 60s, of short stature, chubby build, wearing an all-black face covering, a black T-shirt, dark pants and shoes, and a dark cap," police said.
