On December 5, a combined team of Manipur Police and Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) arrested three cadres of Kangleipak Communist Party-Peoples' War Group (KCP PWG) identified as Laishram Kenjit Singh (36), Mohammad Abdul Matalif (37) and Laishram Langamba Meitei (28) from Phayeng in Imphal West District of Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. One country made 9mm pistol with four live rounds were recovered from their possession. Following further search at their hideouts at Kangchup, other incriminating items like demand letter and workshop for making illegal arms were recovered.
