On December 2, Manipur Police arrested four cadres of Kangleipak Communist Party-Peoples' War Group (KCP-PWG) from Lamkhai area in Kakching District of Manipur, reports India Today NE. The arrested cadres were identified as Sandham Premkumar Singh alias Leikai (45); Saikhom Sidan Singh (33); Nongmaithem Haridash Singh (56) and Khundogbam Tomba Singh (40). They were arrested for their suspected involvement in extortion and possession of illegal arms. One 7.26x25 mm M20 pistol with magazine, ammunition, demand letter of KCP-PWG and 80 blank tax receipts of KCP-PWG were seized from their possession.
