On 24 November 2024, at night, Russian military forces carried out massive 'Shahed' drone strikes at unspecified targets in the Kirovograd region (coded to Kropyvnytskyi city, Kirovograd region). Ukrainian air defense forces shot down in total 50 attack drones over the multiple locations, some over the Kirovograd region. Also, 19 Russian drones were lost likely due to Ukrainian EW systems. 4 more Russian attack drones were still on combat operations in the airspace. No casualties.
