Air Delivered event in Lebanon on Tue 26th November 2024

On 26 November 2024, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes in Al Hadath (Baabda, Mount Lebanon). This was part of the fire belt on Beirut's southern suburbs to the capital city. Casualties unknown. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah. The Israeli army claimed to have targeted Hezbollah infrastructures in Beirut, while a Hezbollah deputy denied that Hezbollah facilities were located in the areas hit by Israel. The Israeli army carried out 20 airstrikes with 8 fighter jets on Beirut's southern suburbs in 2 minutes, and claimed to have targeted 20 Hezbollah sites, including 7 buildings used for management and storage of funds, headquarters, vaults, branches of Al Qard Al Hassan Association, and 13 centers for aerial forces, intelligence division command room, weapon depots, and other military infrastructures.
