On 26 November 2024, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes in Burj el Barajneh (Baabda, Mount Lebanon). They targeted the Raml al-Aali - Tahouitet El Ghadir neighborhoods. 8 people were injured. The Israeli army claimed to have targeted Hezbollah facilities in the area. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah. The Israeli army carried out 20 airstrikes with 8 fighter jets on Beirut's southern suburbs in 2 minutes, and claimed to have targeted 20 Hezbollah sites, including 7 buildings used for management and storage of funds, headquarters, vaults, branches of Al Qard Al Hassan Association, and 13 centers for aerial forces, intelligence division command room, weapon depots, and other military infrastructures.
