On 26 November 2024, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting an underground missile manufacturing site belonging to Hezbollah in the area of Jenta (Baalbek, Baalbek-Hermel). The site was 1,4 km long and located near to the Syrian border. It was being struck over the span of 4 hours. According to the IDF the site had been built several years earlier with the Iranian support and was used for building precision surface-to-surface missiles and other weapons. It also served as a storage for guided missiles. According to the IDF the site was of strategic importance to Hezbollah and it was being operated by both Hezbollah militants and Iranian associates. Casualties unknown.
