Air Delivered event in Lebanon on Tue 26th November 2024

On 26 November 2024, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting at least 30 targets in the southern suburbs of Beirut city (coded to Haret Hreik, Baabda, Mount Lebanon) and in Jnah area (Baabda, Mount Lebanon), coded as two separate events. 13 people were injured and at least 1 was killed. 1 fatality distributed across 2 events, with 1 fatality coded to this event. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah. The Israeli army carried out 20 airstrikes with 8 fighter jets on Beirut's southern suburbs in 2 minutes, and claimed to have targeted 20 Hezbollah sites, including 7 buildings used for management and storage of funds, headquarters, vaults, branches of Al Qard Al Hassan Association, and 13 centers for aerial forces, intelligence division command room, weapon depots, and other military infrastructures.
