On 27 November 2024, in Let Kaung Gyi village (Madaya township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military forces conducted drone strikes by dropping bombs a buddhist monastery building at around 9:15 am. The drone strikes killed three civilians including a novice and two women.
