According to a Statement released earlier by U.S. Central Command; the Arleigh Burke-Class Guided-Missile Destroyers, USS O’Kane (DDG-77) and USS Stockdale (DDG-106) were escorting 3 American-Owned and Flagged Merchant Vessels through the Gulf of Aden on November 30th and December 1st, when they were Attacked from Yemen by the Iranian-Backed, Houthi Terrorist Group. Using their Aegis Combat System, the Destroyers were able to engage and destroy 3 Anti-Ship Ballistic Missiles, 3 Unmanned Aerial Attack Drones, and a Anti-Ship Cruise Missile; with none of the Ships or their Crews suffering an Damage or Casualties.
