The Police arrested four Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres and seized explosives from them from a forest area near Pondum village under the Bhairamgarh Police Station limits in Bijapur District in the Bastar division of Chhattisgarh on November 27, reports The Hans India. The Police team was out on anti-Maoist operation when it arrested Sukku Hapka alias Pulal alias Patel, Mannu Hapka, Lachchhu Madvi and Kosal Madvi alias Gulab, the Police said. According to the Police, Patel was the head of the 'Jantana Sarkar' (people's government of the Maoists) under the Puladi Revolutionary People's Committee (RPC), while Kosal was its member. Mannu was ‘militia’ (people’s army of the Maoists) ‘deputy commander’ and Lachchu was a ‘militia’ member of the Puladi RPC.
