Five militants, including a key ‘commander’ of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), were killed and two Security Forces (SFs) personnel were injured during a clash in Tapi village of Miranshah in North Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 24, reports Dawn. A group of militants attacked a security checkpost in Tapi village with small and large weapons from an unknown location. As a result of the attack, two SF personnel, identified as Lance Naik Nabi Khan and Naik Munir Khan, suffered injuries. The SFs also launched a full-scale counter-attack, killing five militants, including a key TTP ‘commander’, identified as Aminullah alias Istiqlal.
