On November 24, four Kangleipak Communist Party-Military Council (KCP-MC) cadres identified as Wahengbam Ramananda alias Rousow alias Luwangamba, Wahengbam Usharani alias Piyari alias Abem, Naoraibam Joyshankar and Leichombam Bipin Singh were arrested following a rescue operation of an abducted medical officer identified as Dr. Kh. Nabakeshore from Lamdeng under Lamshang Police Station in Imphal West District of Manipur, reports India TodayNE. A 7.65 mm pistol with a magazine, a .32 mm pistol with a magazine and10 live rounds of .32 caliber ammunition were recovered from their possession.
