At least 10 Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed while more than 10 other personnel sustained injuries when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive laden vehicle into the Mali Khel checkpost in Bannu District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 19, reports The Khorasan Diary. “A portion of the roof has collapsed and rescue efforts are underway”, said an unnamed security official. The suicide bombing was followed by a firing raid, the security official added. Jabha Ansar al-Mahdi, a sub-group of Hafiz Gul Bahadur's faction of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility for the attack.
