On 17 November 2024, in Mongngawt town (Kyaukme township, Kyaukme district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike and dropped two 300-lb bombs in Man Lon ward around 12 pm. RFA reported that 4 women were injured when Shan Herald Agency for News reported that a man and 4 women were injured. Khit Thit, Myanmar Now and BBC reported that 5 women were injured, and 15 houses were destroyed.
