Around 17 November 2024 (as reported), in Kutkai town (Kutkai township, Muse district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs near the Yae Htwat U park and a Christian church in the No.4 ward at 11:47 pm. 3 locals including an infant were killed and 10 locals were injured. RFA and Shwe Phee Myay reported that this happened on 18 November in the morning while DVB, Irrawaddy, Myanmar Now, Kachin News Group, KIC, MPA, Shan Herald Agency for News, Khit Thit Media, Mizzima and VOA reported that it was on 17 November.
