On 2 November 2024, in Salin town (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Minbu District (battalions 1 and 5) and the People's Defence Force - Salin (PaKaPha) attacked Myanmar military troops gathering at the house of the town staff officer using two bombs attached to drones at about 10:30 am. 4 individuals, including a police major, were killed, and 3 military troops sustained injuries.
