On 4 November 2024, in Kanbalu township (Kanbalu district, Sagaing region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Kabalu (PaKaPha) Drone Forces No.3 and No.4 and local people's defense forces attacked around 150 Myanmar military and Pyu Saw Htee members at the Thein Yin dam around 1:30 am with 15 bombs attached to drones. 3 military soldiers and 2 members of Pyu Saw Htee were killed immediately. 15 were injured and one of them died of injuries on 7 November. Total fatalities coded as 6.
