On 5 November 2024, in Maung Ma Kan village (Launglon township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of local defense forces attacked Myanmar military troops and police stationed at the Maung Ma Kan police station using bombs attached to drones three times in the afternoon. The combined force includes the Tavoy People Liberation Force, the People's Defense Force - Dawei District (battalion 1), the Sky Ghost Drone Force, the People's Defense Force - Yebyu (PaKaPha) (company 2), and the Red Dragon Guerrilla Force. 3 military troops were killed, and at least 6 others sustained injuries.
