On 11 November 2024, near Taw Pu (North) village (Monywa township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense Force - Chung-U carried out a mine attack against about 40 Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee who came out from the village at around 8 am. The mine attack killed 6 military soldiers and injured at least seven more soldiers.
