On 13 November 2024, at around 3:30 pm, an Israeli drone carried out an airstrike with a guided missile on a motorcycle in Yohmor (Al Nabatieh, Al Nabatieh). The old mosque and lower neighborhoods were targeted. The driver was killed. The Israeli army also fired 155 mm phosphorus shells which set a number of houses on the Shushba road on fire. This event is part of what the Israeli army called its 'new phase' of its war on Gaza, amid hostilities against Hezbollah. International organizations have accused Israel of using white phosphorus bombs during the current war between Hezbollah and Israel.
