On 13 November 2024, ENDF was accused of conducting a drone strike in Bashi Kebele of Menze Mama Midir Wereda (location coded to admin center Molale, North Shewa, Amhara), killing 9 and wounding 7 civilians (uncorroborated fatalities). The drone strike targeted the IDP camp, and the victims were IDPs displaced from the Welega and West Shewa zones of the Oromia region due to conflict and those displaced from Tarma Ber due to landslides.
