Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Umarzai, Charsadda District area, Pakistan on Thu 14th November 2024

A suicide bomber on a motorcycle targeted a Police mobile unit near Akhun Dheri on Hari Chand Road within the jurisdiction of Umarzai Police Station in Charsadda District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 14, causing damage to the vehicle but resulting in no casualties among Police personnel, reports Aaj TV. The bomber detonated his explosives near the Police mobile as it conducted its routine patrol. However, the Police personnel inside the vehicle remained unharmed. The Charsadda District President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Shakeel Umerzai, in a statement said that the suspected suicide bomber was their driver who was paid a hefty sum by their rivals to target the political leader from this District, adds The Khorasan Diary.
