Security Forces (SFs) killed five militants and three other militants sustained injuries while they were attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Khamrang area of South Waziristan District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 4, reports Dawn. “Own troops effectively engaged and thwarted their attempt to infiltrate,” said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release. “Pakistan has consistently been asking Interim Afghan Government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border,” the ISPR added. “Interim Afghan Government is expected to fulfil its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by Khwarij for perpetuating acts of terrorism against Pakistan”, press release added further.
